- New painting processes with a high performance colour paint which is highly absorbent without hardening the sisal. It is most obvious on the black, where it is really hard to see any of the holes produced by the darts
- Grey number ring and spider, this matt grey chrome coating reduces light reflection and doesn't peel like paint when struck by darts keeping the number ring consistent
